Mortgage Lenders Of America Case Study
Although not one of the largest mortgage service companies in the nation, Mortgage Lenders of America is growing rapidly. Headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas, the lender serves 34 U.S. states with FHA, USDA and VA government-backed loans in addition to conventional loans, however, they do not offer Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac mortgages. Much of the lender's business is from online customers; their website offers information about their services and it also gives consumers a way to verify the lender's licensing.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

Mortgage Lenders of America have had their BBB accreditation since 2003. Their rating is an A+, the highest possible rating. Ten consumers reviewed Mortgage Lenders of America on the BBB website, with six positive reviews and four negative reviews. Customers were pleased with the lender's fast service and professionalism, while one of the negative reviews appears to be from someone who was unhappy that Mortgage Lenders of America could not help them increase their credit score and another customer was concerned that the lender requested a copy of their credit report when the lender was asked not to do so.

With 660 reviews of Mortgage Lenders of America, Lending Tree offers the most comprehensive view of the lender. Mortgage Lenders of America has a four-point-three stars out of five, with customers saying that associates are responsive, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

It appears that Mortgage Lenders of America provides excellent service overall, with a few rude associates responsible for the negative reviews. Nearly every negative review talks about discourteous comments, not poor mortgage
