Over the course of the past 10 years, human beings morals have changed drastically. A major change in peoples morals is in the young adult stage. The are several differences factors that influence the way we live our lives in this world. Depending on whether the influence is good or bad normally decides the type of morals you will have and the type of person you’ll be.
Compared to the morals of young adults 10 years ago, the morals of young adults today have declined remarkably. Now kids are doing worse things than kids 10 years ago, but the problem is they know that it is wrong, but they do it anyway. Normally when you get in trouble for a bad action its because of your bad morals. Most children 10 year ago would want to change their morals to stay out of trouble and make good actions, now kids don’t care enough to realize they must change their morals. For example, more kids now drink alcohol underager or do drugs. Even though they may get in trouble for it and they know it is wrong, they will do it anyway because they care about themselves more than they care about good morals.
There are many different factors that influence a youth. A good influence on kids is their parents, for the most part. Your parents should show you the distinction between wrong and right. They should guide you and be a role model that you can follow. If you have parents that have bad morals and make the wrong choices then that will often reflect in your morals. Also your friends and peers influence your morals. This can sometimes be good and sometimes be bad. Although they are your friends they don’t always make the right decisions and sometimes following your friends may not be the best idea. Another influence on morals of the youth is social media. This is mostly never good because some famous people have been through a lot and don’t make the best choices. Also they can be selfish and deceitful because they are famous and wanting to be like them may not be good.
In my life my parents influence my moral choices. I think this is a great thing because my parents are great people who always try and do the right thing. There is no one else I would rather have as a role model to teach me how to live my life. My parents are not perfect and don’t always make the right choices but they always try to and that reflects in how I live my life and how I make my decisions.
All together I think our society is less concerned about making the right decisions. It gradually gets worse and worse because from generation to generation they keep have bad influences that don’t teach them right from wrong. This is why our society has worse morals then society 10 years ago had.
