Mononucleosis

Mononucleosis is a viral transmission through saliva. The ways to receive it is from drinking other people drinks and kissing. It sounds like it is very easy to receive, however, it is not as contagious as some infections; like the common cold. The most common people to get infected by mononucleosis is adolescents and young adults. Mono includes many symptoms. Usually you don’t feel the symptoms till 4-6 weeks after being exposed to the virus. The symptoms you may receive are: fatigue, sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes, swollen tonsils, headache, skin rash and swollen spleen. There is no real treatment if you have mono.
