Monologue Of Ruby
“Ruby Tyne, was reported dead at 10:52 last night. Detectives are working on the case to find out more, but as of now we know she was shot in the left arm, and likely died of blood loss.” Those few sentences ran in my head over and over again, as her sister I should have done something. Shock encloses my body, soon rushed over by numbness, the grieve meds are working finally. Even with the meds my stomach kills me.
“ Bea call the authorities tomorrow, I have some confessing to do.” I say to the V.A, that lives in my house.
“Noted, anything else Jannet?”
“Make a note saying ‘I killed Ruby'.”
“ That's an odd request, but yes, it's done.” Bea mumbles, still offset.
I look over at the clock on my blue walls. It reads 23:12, I walk over to my clean

As the next day rises, I brace myself for the terrible dream to come.
In the dream poor little Ruby, back in the last place I encountered her, or anyone did for that matter. Were back in the forest, Ruby leans against a tree unconscious, a lion walks up behind her. I grab my gun and shoot, but I don't shoot the right target. I awaken up always at the same part, as Ruby hits the floor and I become a

I cant even fathom who I am at this point. That evening I didn't go to the funeral, I should have, because I was too afraid. Afraid of visioning Ruby that way, scared of the shame, and lastly embarrassed of myself. My hands were red, physically and metaphorically, but only I could do something about it. I sprint, run as fast as my feet can take me, I feel hot tears rushing down my face as I approach my death. The police station was quiet, that was until I barged through the glass doors. A serviceman grabbed me, as I nearly fall on my face.“ I murdered her, she's gone and I did it, arrest me!” I bellowed , adrenalin pushed through me, pulsing in and out of my veins, and that's where I faint. The police man wakes me up “ Jannet we are aware, but we have news for you.”
“ Yes officer what is it?' My hands trembled.
“ You didn't extripate her.” He divulged those last two words cautiously, as if expecting me to be aggressive. My ears rang, I wanted to fight, to and kick and hurt this man telling me lies. But I couldn't, I felt I was trapped in my own web of lies. I couldn't breathe, my world was ending, the room was

Don’t you people see what’s going on in our country? Do any of you even have the mood to just smile for one second? Eight years ago, November 18, 1968, in Turkey, Richard Moses, the leader of the Turkish people in a town, brought out a revolution! It was a total success! You stupid people didn’t know about it, did you? Every single person in Turkey cheered for the dramatic change! They received good food, decent wages, ethical living conditions, and millions more! Don’t you want any of those fantastic conditions? Take some time to think about your stupid actions stopping us! Think precisely! This is actually not only for our advantages, but also for the good of everyone single person here in this town! I command all of you to listen to me and support me! You will be living in broken houses, wearing torn clothes and barely having any food supplies! So, stop complaining about foolish people. Now, do not waste my precious time! Let’s get out of here! My adolescent legs strain as I continue along the path aimlessly, my stomach rumbles in emptiness as I realise I left without food. How can one think of such things at a time like that? I most certainly didn't, and now the only thing dwelling in my gut was the sore pain that was the increasing hate for the cruel beings that raised me. Lost in my thoughts my melancholy walking pattern is disrupted as my foot catches on a thick branch and I fall swiftly face first into a small jagged rock. Dazed, I lift myself up from the ground and dust myself off; my left eyelid closes automatically as blood rolls down the top of my face. Cursing, I wipe my face with my sleeve, soaking the cotton a blackish-red instantly. The shock dissipates and pain sets in, sharp agony mixed with a strange tingling sensation on my forehead. I forcedly push the pain to the back of my mind, and go to take my next step just as a small blue spherical object reflecting the moon catches my eye on the edge of the track. Interested, I walk over to it, and pick it up in my hands. After examining the dirt caked ball, images of my younger brother flash through my mind. Times spent together, kicking a ball in the backyard, taking him to his first movie, and then screams of pain, blood, oh god the blood is.... The ball drops to the ground as my hand trembles from the horrible images. I kick it far away off the trail in anger as Im reminded of the situation Im in. The smoky scent of a…

After Intimidar was removed from the hospital, precisely at 3:30 a.m., a drunk driver on a bridge had recklessly slammed into Intimidar’s Porsche, resulting in both cars spinning in the air of all directions, pixelated glass flew in the air, and there was one remaining survivor. Luckily, Intimidar was wearing a seatbelt and survived the crash. After Intimidar had snapped out from being paralyzed from the accident, he investigated the scene. When Intimidar limped to the vehicle, he had to pry the drivers wrinkled door off. From there, the drunk man had blood spurted everywhere, his eyeballs were left hanging out his sockets, his chest was no longer like a blimp, but rather deflated from his broken ribs, and there was no sign of life. Intimidar, left in pain emotionally and physically, searched the man for an identity. The man’s identification card read the name of Albury Wink. For some odd reason, that name seemed familiar to Intimidar, then the name clicked in his mind, and Intimidar was proud the man died. Reason being is because Albury was an adversary to society. The man had murdered over 1,353,582,498 people for pure enjoyment, injured 23,482 people at a concert from running them over with a car, and was absolutely a nuisance to anyone he met. Albury was a man who attacked his victims at night, stole their belongings, and then in a matter of minutes, was invisible and left no trace. Now ten minutes later, the police and ambulance showed up at the scene and questioned Intimidar. Once the negotiation was over, Intimidar got the green check to leave. Intimidar did not get arrested for murder because (1) Albury was drunk, and (2) the cameras recorded the accident. In the next following day, when the crack of sunlight bled through Intimidar’s blinds, he turned on the NEWS to find out he was publicized once again- not only surviving a car wreck on the same day from being discharged from the…

Frozen in the doorway, I stopped before I walked into the room trying to figure my odds. A twelve year old girl against a drunken forty year old man. My heart started to race. I stood ten feet away from what could have been a murder scene. My mom was lying there on the bed blood faced and powerless as my dad stood above her with a tight grip around her neck, slowly turning her head to the right. Forcing her head in a direction that it wasn’t suppose to go. A direction that would have broke her neck if it went any further. As I pushed myself forward from the doorway, I ran over to the bed and climbed underneath my dad, becoming a shield for my mom. This not only became the nightmare I would have for the next two weeks but a scar that was put…

There I was, alone in the dark. Nothing but silence lingering through the air. I could hear the traffic from the freeway from afar. I looked down, and there she was, dead before my eyes. My hand was shaking vigorously like I was nervous about something.…

I gasped for breath, and yet the officers heard it not. I talked more quickly, more vehemently but the noise steadily increased. I arose and argued about trifles, in a high key and with violent gesticulations; but the noise steadily increased. Why WOULD they not be gone? I paced the floor to and fro with heavy strides, as if excited to fury by the observations of the men, but the noise steadily increased. O God! What COULD I do? I foamed -- I raved -- I swore! I swung the chair upon which I had been sitting, and grated it upon the boards, but the noise arose over all and continually increased. It grew louder -- louder --…

I can remember that very night when the inspector came to our home, inspector Goole. He seemed a bit curious at first and said we had killed this girl Eva Smith. I didn’t really recognise the girl or heard her name before. I was astonished to know farther had something to do with this. Inspector Goole then came over to me enquiringly as he thought I was involved. I looked at the photograph; I just noticed I knew this girl. I faintly remember what happened that night, that’s the reason why I’m sitting here. I can’t think clearly, see straight and yet I continue to see glimpses of him, his baby blue eyes, greasy black hair and oily face that sheds a smile every so often. I didn’t mean for everything to be this way, I feel as if it’s my fault, that maybe I’m the suspect. I feel as if there’s a blunt knife digging deeper into the guilty walls of my soul. As I peer around the room, I notice one streak of sunlight, fighting for survival in the dark and dampened room.…
