Monologue Animal Farm
Both Napoleon and Snowball approached the raised platform at the back of the barn, and began to speak of the procedures that had just occurred. Snowball’s back was still smeared with blood, therefore, in his mind, enabling him the right to speak first. “Comrades, this battle we have won, though it may not be the last one. There was a specific feeling about today, an indescribable feeling that was felt all throughout the farm. Perhaps it was vengeance, perhaps it was victory, but we all know that Jones will never know the latter.”

“One animal was lost today, and to honour the fallen, we shall sing ‘Beasts of England’ at the end.” Snowball paused, surveying the attentive audience in front of him. They looked eager for him to continue, though sad for the loss for their efforts. Napoleon gave him a look, and he started talking, again.

“The pure determination of all of us together, comrades, was enough to frighten away Jones, and his evil henchmen, and possibly any thought of returning as well. What we did today, as a group was both courageous, and dangerous. I would applaud all of you if I had hands. The

I personally believe that was the last we shall see of Jones and his men in a long time. I am telling you now that you should be ready to die for Animal Farm if the times comes. The fallen sheep had her life taken today so that no one else’s had to be taken as well. Jones could have killed many more of us with that shotgun of his, and he almost did in fact, kill me. The wounds that have happened because of today will be taken into consideration for your working hours, as they will need time to heal. But do not think that you should make a fool of yourself, and make an injury now, as we all know who was injured in today’s

The novel “Animal Farm”, written by George Orwell, was written as a reference to the Russian Revolution during the Second World War. The main characters of the novel were two, Napoleon and Snowball. The animals in the farm were facing bad treatments from the owner of the farm, Mr Jones; therefore, the animals, led by Napoleon and Snowball, decided to raise a rebellion against Mr Jones and his workers. The rebellion succeeded, and the farm became owned by the animals. Throughout the novel, Napoleon and Snowball could never agree in anything. All of the sudden, one day Napoleon made a dirty move by convincing the animals in the farm that Snowball was a spy, and he was working with Mr Jones the whole time. This forced Snowball to escape from the farm leaving Napoleon the only leader in the farm. One of the most important themes…

After this overthrow Snowball and Napoleon are put in charge over the pigs with the motto “all pigs are equal.” However during this leadership Snowball is run off the farm by Napoleon’s taste for power starting a dictatorship. Therefore takes control of all the animals of the farm. Boxer who had thought about what Napoleon had did spoke his mind saying” if comrade Napoleon says it, it must be right.” From there he adopted the saying “Napoleon is always right” this shows how Napoleon has failed to keep the oath he had made to Old Major, and now is running a communist regime. This shows how Napoleons idea of equality had completely diminished creating alliance with the humans.…

Step by wicked step, my boots sank further and further into the thick, red-tinged land as if the devil himself were dragging my body straight into the depths of hell. The rhythmic squelching stabbed through my rubber soles, radiating pain throughout my soul as it seared everything in its path. Squelch, squelch, squish. My tempo was interrupted by those cursed boots refusing to budge from the stubborn terrain. As if taunting me, the earth unhooked my feet from the damned soil…

    Spring Pig Monologue

I spent several days and nights in mid-September with an ailing pig and I feel driven to account for this stretch of time, more particularly since the pig died at last, and I lived, and things might easily have gone the other way round and none left to do the accounting. Even now, so close to the event, I cannot recall the hours sharply and am not ready to say whether death came on the third night or the fourth night. This uncertainty afflicts me with a sense of personal deterioration; if I were in decent health I would know how many nights I had sat up with a pig.…

His finger reached down to press the button and began to speak, “Hello, citizens of The Colony, do not feel panicked even though this is not the usual person speaking to you. Indeed, I am not Mother. But, I am here to inform you about the different world above us, The Outside. It is a place where people can feel independent. It is said that many decades earlier, the Outside became too polluted for a whole population to live in, so with no other choice, seventy-five percent of the population moved into The Colony, where they would have to live under Mother.…

    Napoleon's Integrity

Often through his influential representative, Squealer, Napoleon routinely lies to the unintelligent animals. For instance, he alters the story of the Battle of the Cowshed to paint himself as a heroic figure. In actuality Napoleon accomplishes nothing remarkable during the battle, but Squealer later convinces the other animals otherwise: “Do you not remember… [how] when panic was spreading and all seemed lost, that Comrade Napoleon sprang forward with a cry of ‘Death to Humanity!’ and sank his teeth in Jones’s leg?” (81). Although Napoleon commands his followers’ admiration, he does not deserve that respect, for he obtains it deceitfully. He also conceals his own shortcomings by persuading the other animals to blame Snowball, whom he banished from Animal Farm, for all of the farm’s misfortunes. “Whenever anything went wrong it became usual to attribute it to Snowball” (78). By slandering Snowball, Napoleon deviously establishes himself among the other animals as the only fitting leader for Animal Farm. Admittedly, one instance of Napoleon’s trickery averts an attack on the farm when food supplies run low. “Napoleon was well aware of the bad results that might follow if the real facts of the food situation were known, and he decided to make use of Mr. Whymper to spread a contrary impression” (75). Though misleading the neighboring farmers proves advantageous in that instance, Napoleon’s…

I’m hopeless. I’m completely and utterly hopeless. I have nothing to look forward to at a school. At least on the farm I had friends and a family. I had a life… largely consisting of stealing from tourists that visit the vineyard. I need to find a way to turn this car around. That’s it! I’ll tell dad that I don’t want to go. He’ll respect my decision. But if he gets mad… shoot, last time he pulled out the belt. No, I better think of a slightly less painful idea. I can make up an excuse – No, that wouldn’t work. If only I wasn’t such a bad liar. In hindsight, if I were a better liar, I would have prevented many bad run-ins with the cops, and the worst run-ins that were near fatal, courtesy of dad. Yeah, he knows me in and out, too, so I can’t trick him. That would be suicide. I could call my friends… if I had a phone. Now I’ll never get to explain to them how I ended up in this mess. They’ll just remember me as the kid who became a goody two-shoes. They’ll never know that I won the contest for acceptance into a private school only because my Grandma wrote the application appeal. My family just doesn’t care that I don’t want to go to school. Why are they not giving me a fair say in the course of my life? They don’t know how good I am at sneaking and stealing. They don’t know how much money I could make if my friends and I took it to the next level. They just don’t understand what I’m trying to say because I’m not good with words. Maybe this school can help me, though. Maybe if I go sit in just the English and Literature class, I can fix this problem of mine. I’m already in the car, why stop now? Shoot, this car is a ’98 Corolla and is used for transporting a family of eight. Maybe this family needs a high school graduate. Maybe they’re actually depending on me. Man, if I just try a little to be a good student, I can make some honest money. Maybe my grandma just wanted to see someone become great. I have to this. I’ll have the best of both worlds…
