In my everyday life I sometimes don’t realize how little time is left in each day, just so everything get accomplished. Putting into a calendar, caused me to see just how litte time was left over, I was surprised.
I have set time aside each evening for my school work. Also there are a few mourning through the week where I try and do much of my reading during this time.
School right now in my life is something important to me, I have a goal and this is part of it. Consequently I have had to greatly reduce some of the personal time I was taking for my self such as going to the gym, fishing and other hobbies. It will be worth the sacrifice.
To be completely honest I have struggled some

Throughout my high school career I have challenged myself by completing six advanced placement classes and taking other honors classes. I have taken these classes as a way to help guide myself for what is to come in the future in college. I was inducted into the National Honors Society during my junior year of high school, and I graduated with honors. Both of these successes are the two greatest accomplishments of my high school career. These two achievements prove how dedicated I was, and still am, to getting the best education I could. My quality of dedication will stick with me throughout my future endeavors.…

The dictionary defines island as “a tract of land surrounded by water and is smaller than a continent”. The one and only A.N. Island was made an official island by Peter Nguyen on December 17, 1990. He was traveling on the ocean when he bumped into a piece of rock. He didn’t notice that he had bumped into the Cave of Death until Death Bear came. He was lucky that he had weapons on his boat such as robogun that he had invented. As Peter defeated Death Bear, the villagers that had already lived there chose Peter to be their leader. Because Khuyen Nguyen was his wife, she became the First Lady in A.N. Island. When his son was old enough, Peter chose his oldest son,…

I really enjoyed reading Alexie’s essay. What he writes about is very expressive, and you get the full point of what he is trying to express. The main part that touched me is when he is explaining how he was treated, and what he had to go through just because he was smart, and wasn’t afraid to express himself. The other children would beat him up; he was looked down on, and also treated as an outsider because of this. Alexie didn’t care though because he knew that there was something other than the reservation in his future, and that the world was much bigger than the reservation that he lived on, and there was more to be gotten on the outside. He wasn’t going to let the other Indians keep him down, and stop him from learning. It’s awesome that when Alexie is an adult he goes back to reservations to help the children, because when he was a child there was no one that was there to support him, or to look up to other than…

position with the Division of Economic Security (DES)?’ this is my response. Over the years I have held several different office type jobs. I started out as a temporary worker for DES, in a file room in the Child Support Division. I was required to build files for different units; maintain a log of the files that were being received, transferred out, and sent to the warehouse. The files sent to the warehouse were given a secondary number by the warehouse, in case a file had to be retrieved; this was the tracking system that allowed the warehouse to locate the appropriate file. I worked in DES as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the Family Assistance Administration (FAA). As a CSR I was required to perform a wide range of clerical duties; distributing mail/inter-office mail and faxes, pulling and filing files in the file room, registering/scheduling incoming applications, ensuring the case managers had their list of appointments for the day and the incoming paperwork that accompanied it, answering the switchboard to guide/answer incoming calls from consumers, and scan information the case managers had gathered from the consumers into the system. The position as a CSR proved tested my ability to multi-task and to prioritize and re-prioritize with the day to day changes.…

School can be an enjoyable place. It can be a place where friends are made, a place to laugh, make memories, and learn. Even though school has many positive aspects, students can also find many more negative aspects about it. It can be a place where teachers give tons and tons of homework, a place that only makes people stress out, a place where teachers just do not teach anything at all, or do not like certain students, a place full of hard tests, essays, and projects. Sometimes school can only be dreaded, heart and soul. Though school can be unwanted and undesirable for many, it is needed and it brings people many benefits to their future life. Teenagers should not drop out of school, giving up; instead, they should study as hard as they can and get as much knowledge as possible. They should finish high school and look for a higher education.…

Schooling is one of the most important key concepts of anyone’s lives. Going to school and getting good grades depends on how well your future will be. If I could plan my ideal school, I would make it to where we go to school all year and then get a 3 or 4 month break, I would start school at a later time, depending on age and grade, one last thing I would change are the ways of extra curricular activities, like when they take place and how they take place.…
