Modern Technology
When we look back to the history of human being in recent 200 years, we will be surprising what a huge change modern technology has brought us. Trains and planes enable us to travel to everywhere we want. Internet and televisions communicate news to everyone. New technologies provide us a new standard of living, and I state that they are creating a single world culture.

Modern technology has shortened the distance between cultures, and made the world smaller. People can travel or migrate from one place to another very quickly. They see how people in other zones dress, speak and behave. The more exposure to other traditions and customs they do, the more likely they adopt to those. As a result, their own traditions and customs are replaced by a massive one.

Another reason for the impact of modern technology on creating a similar world is that it makes possible for cultures to communicate with each other. When watching TV programmes, searching web and chatting through the Internet, people learn about foreign cultures and try to make some of those their own. The exchange of knowledge has had a great impact on their lives. The café from Brazil, the scotch from Scotland, the cigars from Cuba, the wine from France, the American music, that appear and become well-known in many parts of the world are good examples of how modern technology influences people’s life and also creates a single world culture.

With the rapid development of modern technology, people learn and come to appreciate foreign cultures. They recognize the value of variety. Therefore, in the near future, there will be many similarities in country’s cultures. Traditional cultures around the world may be more willing to join our call for a single world

From writing letters to e-mailing; going from signing our signatures with pens to signing our signatures via e-signatures. Within each day of our lives there is something new with our technology. People now are less active and rely on the Internet and machinery to do anything for us. Technology is definitely affecting our culture since our generation has changed completely within the years. In this generation, technology and society go hand and hand. Technology and human life cannot be separated in the perspective of various people. Society has grown to have a co-dependence on technology. As stated by Fareed ZakAria in his article “How to Restore the American dream”, “technology is not only affecting society, but its creating a better reality. Everything is able to be achieved through ease” (Zakaria 460). In a broader view, we depend on technology for everything. Each individual in the world today uses this new entity in their daily lives. The use has become too great, that most of the time it’s viewed as a habit. The demand for technology keeps on increasing everyday as we use technology to travel, to communicate, to learn, and to handling business but most importantly, to live in peace and comfort. In the article, “Technology & Society: A Canadian Perspective”, the authors said the following about technology. “Technology and Society, we are told exist in a dynamic reciprocal relationship; they act on, and react to, one another” (Goyder and Aant). Without technology society is able to…

Many human beings have said technology had affected the cultures of all countries around the world. Historically people used to trade and sell goods, by shipping them, using water routes, but now technology is more advanced. For example, in marketing technology today it is more advanced in business jobs, technology helped poor countries in business to make them reach and buy goods from high quality markets. The information age has now developed technology that is helping countries politically to reach each other easily, instead of sending letters and messages, social media is playing a huge role in the Global Age. Countries are now more reachable then before, they can debate and talk politics to each other due to the information age. In 2010, 2011 disconnected Arab nations used technology only for special cases, after they topped most of the governments, the world started to realize how effective technology can be. In recent times, the globalization topic is one of the most discussed issue across the world. With globalization, countries has started to build stronger economic ties and be increasingly reliant on each other as it has never be. Some researchers argue of cultural convergence; that is, as two countries become closer with each other, they will be more likely to influence each other's culture, thereby bringing the two different cultures to be more similar. For example, the popular culture, which originates from Western European and America, is often to be said to influence the developing Asian countries' culture, and is often dubbed as Westernization (Leung et al, 2008). Conversely, there are many that argue also of cultural divergence; which is the belief that each nation's culture are deeply rooted in the countries' history, so that even if outside culture try to influence the belief and attitude of the people, the difference between cultures can still be maintained, and can even increase over time (Axelrod, 1997; Turnbull & Sheehan, 2012).…

Nowadays technology has unbelievable speed in proceeding without any interval. Its effect spectrum spread through human life, namely: Communication, Medical science, Computer and transport. While generally people mind you to computers and telecommunication devices ( means) and they think it is single side of technology; from my point of view, transport is placed in the first stage of importance which I’d like to refer to some aspects. Initially, it creates a safe travel with highest securities. Technology for the sake of secure transportion, suggests many stylish planes. For instance, in air industry transportation we face with huge steps toward future. A couple of days ago one airplane belonging to American airline had a essential landing in a river with roughly 200 passengers and crews; which all of them (all of whom) safely had left the airplane. The pilot said “I strongly believe, we are owe to the design of airplane which assist us to survive” Second, development of technology, as well had enormous change on all kind of pollutions –sound pollution and especially air pollution. The scientists got assistance from new generation of fuel which secures the lives of some special species of plants; they could decrease approximately %50 of air pollution by airplanes. Furthermore, they have had successfully tests on cars and others vehicles. Last but not least, I want to highlight many update facilities which are using (used) in vehicles and public transport. They make passengers comfort and ease journey even in long-distant travels. In conclusion, in this regard, the progress in technology is not a bit to disregard, also I totally assume which these changes have been effected ( affected) transportation more than other departments and all of them is positive for human…

The world is has never been the same. People living a century ago, can never imagine the world we are living in. Over the last one hundred years we have seen extraordinary changes in technology. We wished to be like birds flying here and there, now we are visiting planets and isolated areas. We dreamed to go “Around the world in Eighty Days” and now we communicate across the world in seconds. The culture of the people changes accordingly with the devolvement in science and technology.
