Moana Akumu Insecurity Essay

Kristina, Moana Akumu was named after her grandmother, which means the ocean. They were from Hawaii where waves crash like thunder and the sun shines like armor. They called Kristina by Moana because she loved to sit by the ocean and enjoy every second of it. By the time she was 12, she had already mastered the rhythm of the waves, now that she’s 15 Moana practically lives there. She does have one insecurity that she is afraid to share with the ones that love her because she feels like she will not be accepted for who she is. Now Moana is currently living with her mom and sees her father almost every weekend. Sometimes she gets lonely because she is the only child and her other family members live in New York. When she’s at school she is very sociable and involved with a lot of things to keep her mind off of her problems and how she still hasnt shared her sexual preference with her parents.
