Moab KOA is only 15 minutes from Arches National Park and the Dead Horse State Park & Canyonlands National Park, so it's considered a transition point as you plan your treks and hikes. For hiking beginners though, you can also just stay in the Moab Campground which has a variety of outdoor activities for you to choose from such as biking, running, or jeeping.
