Mission statement
To successfully launch and develop powerful retail chain business in Uzbekistan, Mary is suggested to undertake accurate step by step actions that would translate her ideas into reality in a proper way. In this sense, the formulation of overall mission statement is important - written declaration of an organization 's core focus and purpose that usually remains the same over the time.

As Mary is going to introduce innovative hygiene product by Amway, we can assume that her mission statement could be a bit different from those of competitors, who offers the ordinary cleaning solutions. However, it is crucial to identify overall trends and direction adopted by local producers, as Mary is going to enter the same market, segment and reach the same target customers. Followings are the mission statements of some hygiene products producers that could be considered as Amway’s competitors:

Unilever - manufactures Domestos, Cif, OMO, Comfort, Sunlight, Surf.
“Our purpose is to make sustainable living commonplace. We work to create a better future every day, with brands and services that help people feel good, look good, and get more out of life.”

Henkel - manufactures Prill, Bref, Pemolux, Dac.
“We will outperform our competition as a globalized company with simplified operations and a highly inspired team.”

SC Johnson - manufactures Duck, Glade, Kiwi, Mr.Muscle, Pledge.
