Entry: We were on a mission today here's how it went “enemy contact, hostiles on my position.” I knew there were hundreds of them out there. All of our motion sensors were like radiation scanners in a nuclear fallout. Blue one was running faster and swifter than all of us even with the Mjolnir armor on, it weighed over 300 pounds. We jumped up onto the ridge shooting armor piercing rounds into the grunts and elites tearing through their armor and Into their skin. The screeches of their voices and the ground covered in there blue and purple blood. Rockets flew in from above as blue two shot them down. We then threw grenades into the crowd and jumped off the ridge. over the com (type of radio) I told red three to lay

I was taught to trust my instincts we slowly moved forward, we came to a halt to see a jackal crushed with a boot imprint on its back a blood trail led into the west wing I turned on infrared nothing was there nothing in the nearby wing we slowly move toward the west wing. When we got inside we saw lots of technology, it almost looked like deja’s class room back on reach. When we reached the arch there was a huge spike of infrared shooting straight up out of the west wing. So powerful it disabled my systems we took cover we moved up slowly and spotted two aliens, they were giant no doubt one of them crushed the jackal. They had huge shields and a cannon on its left arm we opened fire on them, but our armor piercing rounds bounced right off them one of them turned toward us and shot at kelly and James then the other one shot at us I brought my alien shield up just in time there was a flash of light and i got blown into the next room and crashed into the next wall I ran back in their was a burn mark where kelly and james were kelly jumped forward in time but James wasn’t in

By midnight reports were coming into his CP of engagements with the Brigades scouts, they were repelled and even some were captured. To say the Soldier were surprised to find Marines here was an understatement. By two in the morning the forward elements of the Brigade had stumbled into one of the avenues of approach covered by the LAV-25’s, they opened up with their 25mm guns, shredding the advancing company that got caught. They quickly pulled back and…

Alright I’m starting this diary so I can at least tell someone about how exciting my life is! I currently work as a housekeeper in house of the Proctor family, and it’s really fun. No, it’s not the work that’s fun, but it is the fact that I am kind of involved with John (Mr. Proctor). I know it sounds bad since he is married, but God put us together under the same roof for one reason; to unite our hearts. His wife is sickly and pregnant, so she never notices. It felt wrong at first, but since I’ve a crush on John for a long time, I just had to make a move. Mrs. Proctor is very demanding as well. Since I am the housekeeper, I have to take care of all of her needs. She is such a demanding…

This story teaches today’s Marines how to fight like Marines as well as why this service holds so many honors. The never say die attitude of every man on that hill is proof why the Marines are America’s elite, because they can take every hardship that God and the world can throw at them and still have the ingrained training, espirit de corps, and badass attitude to fire back, keep moving, and never give up.…

Everyone got in a line, and coach told us who was going to do the PKs. She called on Damien, Dominic, Evan, Bash, and me. Damien went up to the line while the other team's goalie got ready to block it. Damien kicked the ball right at the corner of the goal and the ball went in. We all cheered loudly and then waited tensely as Damien then got ready to be goalie. The other team's kicker went up to the line and kicked it right at Damien so he blocked it easily. Next, I was up to kick. I kicked it to the bottom left corner of the goal and…

We had been ambushed by a large number of entrenched combatants that used mortar rounds and effective machine gun fire to pin down our forces. The Iron Chef and I moved into a parcel of farm land that sat below the enemies view, yet we could hear the snap and feel the wind of the enemy fire whizzing across our heads and shoulders as if there was some sort of lead wall threatening to prostrate us to the ground for eternity. As we began to work our way into a position to effect the enemy combatants, a rocket struck one of our vehicles about two hundred meters to our immediate front, destroying the truck and injuring the occupants, how seriously, we did not know but we had to work our way to their location, provide them cover and get them to…

As I moved down the street to the next house, I noticed that the gate to the courtyard was open and again this just didn’t feel right. I relayed the info back and was told to proceed anyway. As I stepped inside the front gate I located the front door of the house and began moving towards it to get into position. As soon as I went through the gate an IED went off out in the street. I immediately turned and ran back out in the street to get accountability of my men. I was relieved to see that none of them had been harmed and even more relieved to hear that the other squads were all reporting the same. Until someone noticed a body in the middle of the street approximately 50 meters…

We were missing a few players because of grades or being out of town. Being a freshman, I didn’t think that I would get in very much but maybe a little. However, I was still really nervous for the game. Once we got to the locker room, we talked about our game plan-don’t have quick possessions that don’t result in anything but a turnover. If we did that, we would be…

The next day woke me by the sound of gun fires and our men yelling waking us up. We grabbed our gear and hid behind the rough hills as a shield. It started, as frightened as I already was my friend had just got killed by the blazing bomb. I didn’t know how to feel about it in this rush of survival, so I ran as the next bomb was coming my way. But what could I do about it? I have to protect myself as well. I didn’t put my life at stake I was forced like all the other soldiers. My life is at risk and if I survive I will go home with proud survival guilt. As I had just lost focus of what was happening because I was so shocked thinking this is what war really is; a gun manages to pass through my arm as if I’m not weak already. I fall down to the ground with the scent of dirt southing (soft rustling) through my nose. A blurred vision of my troops fighting was the only other sense apart from the sound of air raid sirens and drones. I can’t believe no one has noticed me, they probably have but don’t…

It’s that mentality that gets in your head that you are winning and you should not try as hard; we played very sloppy soccer in the second half and I myself didn’t run as hard as I had in the previous half. Vanguard came out with a chip on their shoulder and anger inside their bodies. They attacked us from all angles and played like how they were supposed to, passing, shooting and scoring. The intensity of the game picked up and our luck with holding Vanguard scoreless was gone when there left forward shot the ball right over my foot and then into the right corner passed our goalkeeper. The score now was tied 1-1 and I could start to see the change in momentum as the Vanguard players cheered and we started arguing with each other. It reminded me of the exact situation earlier in the first half when we scored. We woke up and played back with the same determination that we had in the first half, and I was finally moving the ball down the field for our offense to score, but we were unable to get a goal into the back of the net. With only 15 minutes left in the game, I knew it was crunch time, live or die, score or go home type of situation. My jersey felt like it weighed twenty pounds with all the sweat bearing down on it. Vanguard continued to press their big, fast and strong guys up the field putting pressure on our defense, and when they scored that second goal, our whole team spirit just seemed to die. Vanguard`s talent had finally broken through just like in the earlier games against us. Now we were the ones losing and it was our turn to score. Yet we had trailed through most of our games anyway, so this was familiar situation. Vanguard continued to improve on their play in the second half and shut down our offense as we tried to score. Our coach took our one of our midfielders and put an extra forward in to try and help score but that left our dense…

The whole team was mad but there was no one to be at but ourselves. We stop playing our ball and it cause us to lose the game. That day was an eye opener for me. I learn that day to never get rap up in the glory because anything can taking away in seconds. I learn to always work hard at something you want. If you want something you must go out and handle your business. Once you get to top never stop working keep working and striving to be better. Even if you're the best still push and…

    War Monologue

The crack of gunshots, bombs were whistling past missing by inches, bullets were spraying over my head. Bodies were dropping around me. I stood, I fired. The line between life and death was blurred. The realisation of being where I was at the time never sank in. My face was wet, I couldn’t understand why or how. I struggled to see past the tears in my eyes. It struck me, I gasped for air. I was crying. I realised what I just saw. The man that had my words written in stone, I promised him that I would always be there. It was my brother lying there hit. I was on the ground screaming, blood weeping through my hands, I pushed the wound down, more blood pushed out. I felt his heart beat in my own hands. His chest had been blown open. I had my brother’s blood on my hands, I had the enemy’s blood sprayed on me. It was at this moment I realised there was no difference in colour. There was no real difference in the way we fought, the way we spoke, the way we lived. I was laying there bathed in bright red in the middle of the fighting field. My ears were ringing, everything stopped, and no one was firing. I looked around; I saw my own Comrades standing there firing, at what? Men that were just hiding in the shrub, they were after something, someone, but not to kill. They wanted to evade the war but thrived for the justice of their people. Oblivious to what they were after, I stood up ready to scream. But what? The only thing that set the line between us and ‘them’ was we spoke a different language. They would not understand a word I would say, they were merely a less developed race, and what were they now? ‘They’ were not firing, we were. I called my men off, I stood out from the refuge leaving the stream of vivid red. It was then when I felt the ache in my thigh, I was hit.…
