Whitefish Blastula
Duration of phase (in min.) = percentage x 1440 min. 100
Conclusion:

According to the data table, Prophase took the most amount of time in the
Whitefish Blastula, but in the Onion Root tip, prophase took the most amount time. In the Onion Root tip, the cell spends about 43 minutes in Telophase, while in the Whitefish Blastula the cells takes approximately 1066 minutes in Prophase.

According to the data table, Anaphase took the least amount of time in the
Whitefish Blastula, but in the Onion Root tip, metaphase took the least amount of time. In the Onion Root tip, the cells spends around 7 minutes in Metaphase, meanwhile in the Whitefish Blastula the cell takes 0 minutes in Anaphase because there were no cells going through Anaphase within the Whitefish
Blastula at that moment.

Smaller samples might not work with the assumption because the sample would not have enough data or cells for an accurate percentage of cells in that phase at that moment. Since one cell could drastically change the

    2. I did not have not have a drawing of both slides going through telophase but after looking at a neighbouring groups drawings, I was able to conclude that there were a lot more cells active cells in the alliums root. What I mean by this is that most of the cells had active nucleus while the whitefish embryo had many dead cells where the nucleus had died. Besides that it was clear that in both slides the cells were splitting and the spindle fibres were very noticeable.…

The control plates used in transformation are the LB and second LB/Amp plates marked with a “-“. The control for restriction digest was the ladder. The independent variables are the different cultures of the E. coli, and the +LB/Amp and +LB/Amp/ara plates form the experiment group. The dependent variable is whether the cells glow green under the UV light and whether they are resistant to ampicillin or not. The variables in restriction digest are the other 4 samples. The dependent variable is the length that the DNA fragments travel while the independent variable is the size of the DNA fragments.…

Cell division occurs when cells are dividing in order to produce new cells. I have compared the differences between cancer and good cell division to find out the process of division of all cells, this is also when I found that there are different more complicated chromosomes in cancer cells. One of the main problems with cancer cells comparing is the chance of tumor formation which leads to the invasion of cancerous cells. Another consequence is the cancer spreading to other organs. A tumor consists of a mass of cancer cells in the tissue. Usually an evasive tumor is malignant, causing cells to develop in the blood. Tumors invade growth that the tissue and organs need to survive.…
