Mission Statement- Assignment- 11/6/13 Home Depot said that they are: “Delivering Winning Solutions That Inspire Worklife. That for them means: -
our actions speak louder than words. We are accountable: doing what we say we're going to do efficiently and on time
I would amend this to state that Home Depot Is committed to their customers satisfaction to the fullest degree possible. The way we do this is by offering a wide assortment of building materials, home improvement supplies, lawn and garden products and “do-it-yourself” support, as well as providing a number of services to residential and commercial consumers.
Home Depot is doing this for their consumers, associates, communities, and customers. Home Depot currently operates 2,147 stores with locations in all 50 states, including the territories of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. They also have stores in Canada and Mexico (marketline.com, May 29, 2007). With the acquisition of the Chinese retailer, The Home Way, Home Depot has officially made the voyage of expansion overseas. This astonishing coverage of nearly every corner of the globe is what has given Home Depot the tag of largest home improvement retailer in the world.
This is how Home Depot is able to have the most competitive prices. The Home Depot shows their consumers, associates, communities, and customers that actions speak louder than words by showing you our heart of our business our commitment to your satisfaction. We show our people that we care about their hard work and their families because actions speak louder than words. I have many goals in my life that I wanted to fulfill; one of those goals is to have economic security. During these past 18 months that our country was submerged in recession, it pressed me to reflect on how important it is to have economic security. During that period of time, I was reflecting about which would be the best plan of action that can help me to reach my goals. I came to the conclusion that the only good plan was to go back to the University and to obtain a degree. I currently work in a company as a general manager, but that does not give me the security that I need to project my future. And this was the main reason, why I decide to enroll in DeVry University. Now that I’m an active student, I feel that I am constructing a bright future and that my goals are going to become a reality once I graduate. After graduation, my plan is to work for the government for few years, after that period of time; I’m planning to develop my own company that would be dedicated to accounting services for individuals, companies, and to offer financial advice.…
