Mercedes Martin Sendra is a contemporary artist based in Queretaro, Mexico.

After discovering her passion for painting in 1994, she took several courses with important mexican paintors Duch as Francisco Paz, Eugenia Gabilondo and Octavio Galindo. She partcicpated in different workshops with aclaimed paintors in Oaxaca, the capital of mexican art and source of her inspiration. After learning different techniques, she leaned towards abstract art as her way of expresión. Her tecnique is based in making strokes on different textures and materials, playing with lines and shapes, which are a producto f her imagination ans subconscious, and finally placing the colors on it. She has participated in several exhibitions and in 2007 se created a collection of more than 100 paintings for a well known hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
