Since many centuries there has been this ingrained idea that males are the more dominant half of humankind. The question is whether this is actually true or whether it’s just one of the society’s preconceived notions. Misogyny and male privilege are words that go together as they help explain each other. Misogyny is the word given to the ingrained idea that females are lower in society. It is this idea that also leads the to idea that males are more privileged. Many people have tried to trace the origin of these ideas however it seems impossible. There are many theories as to how the human race originated however it is how but why it is how it is that have people truly puzzled. No one can understand why males have been created so that they are physically stronger than females. One way humans cope up to things they can’t understand is to explain them out of existence. One such explanation as to why men are stronger than women is that it is because they are more powerful. This is another way the idea of male dominance started.
There are many ways as to how the problem of misogyny started however no one can come up with a solution to make it stop existing. The most logical solution to this problem is education. It will help spread awareness and it is the most ideal solution as it reaches the most number of people. The issue of male dominance has come to the forefront of the world issues only in this century and I hope that it will be resolved by the end of this century.
Still in most parts of the world women are still oppressed and looked down upon. Men are considered to be stronger and more intellectual. Misogyny of women is considerably improving as women are given jobs at higher positions and in the political system. This issue is a very sensitive to most people and still needs a lot of attention in order to be completely
