Minimizing Negative People
Module 11 Writing Assignment
Identify at least one healthy way to minimize how negative people affect you.
One healthy way to minimize how negative people treat you, would be to just avoid them. In my opinion that is the best way. The reason I think that is because it is not healthy to spend to much time with people who drain you and make you unhappy. Life is to short to be around negative people, so it is important to always surround yourself with positive people. Also, negative people can also affect how you act as well. So therefore this is why I think staying away from negative people is a healthy way to keep people from treating you badly.

The school faculty completes their part by keeping up with the students and making sure they get home correctly( e.g. bus, walker, or car rider), making sure that the teachers do not have too many students that they cannot handle, and organizing a positive behavioral support system that can be used school-wide. The students have the duty of adapting to the rules and procedures of a new teacher, and completing harder work after their summer break. Students that have caught my attention are students who that are academically…

Some say, "who cares if you are positive, just look at Donald Trump!" In reality, there are more successful people who are positive and nice rather than those who are rude and negative. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, is a very positive woman. The first time she went to a publisher, they said, "we don't want to print this book because it is too out there".…

Even if a person does not enjoy being around other people, everyone deserves a basic degree of respect from others. People should strive to be amiable and courteous towards other people, even towards individuals with whom they do not get along. A person can choose not to have certain people in his or her life, but if a person chose to frown and ignore everyone else, that person will almost definitely find him or herself in an undesirable position. A person who comes off as closed and unfriendly will most likely antagonize acquaintances, which can prove detrimental to a person’s personal and professional life. People perceived as negative or rude will have a harder time getting a job after an interview or getting promoted in the job they already have. For example, Dwight Schrute from NBC’s The Office, was interviewed by a panel of his colleagues for the job of branch manager. He was a dedicated, well-qualified hard worker. However, his authoritative, paranoid, self-centered personality drove his coworkers to instead choose Robert California to replace Michael Scott as Dunder Mifflin’s regional manager. If he had had a more open, friendlier disposition, his coworkers might have felt honored to make him their boss.…

Many special needs classes have found that implementing positive reinforcement in inclusive education has shown remarkable results. When people are genuinely positive, they have better outlooks and results in all parts of life, including education and friends. “Despite limited attention from researchers and practitioners, SWPBS (School Wide Positive Behavior Supports) has potential to positively affect inclusive school reform and outcomes for students with severe disabilities.”(Enyart). Positive reinforcement has a direct correlation to the behavior of children. When a child is put into inclusion they learn how to act around others they don’t know as well, they learn how to control themselves better, and become aware of the classroom setting.…

There are a few benefits associated with experiencing a positive emotion theory. Typically, when you are having a positive emotion you see things on the up side rather than a negative outlook. For instance, people always feel good or continue to think positive if they are getting good grades in school. I, myself is very eager to sustain a positive emotion when my grades are above average and I am getting positive feedback from the instructor saying that I am on a great path in that class. This emotion will help promote a positive well-being. Another benefit associated with experiencing positive emotion…
