Mind and Communication Patterns Tania
CCC Part 2: Describing Communication Patterns
Tania Mesa

(2A)- Driving to work, I called my sister to tell her about something that I saw on facebook . 10/31/20012 Halloween day, I was in a hurry to get to my work on time, I called my sister at the time and now I realized that was not the best time to talk to her. We had a very short and fast conversation and so I think that my communication with her was not very effective. As the book says on Figure 5.3 a good listener focus on what a speaker is saying regardless of competing stimuli that are potential distractions and are ready themselves physically and mentally. Today days we don't know how to listen, nor see, we stop for a while to enjoy the views of others but sometimes that is not shared can potentially serve us sometime.

A: Older sister (ME)
B: Younger sister (my sister)

A: Hello sister.
B: Hello sister, how are you?
A: Well. I was looking at your profile on Facebook and I do not like your friends, you have so many...OH MY GOD!
B: Yes, I know all my friends and all of them are good.
A: It is impossible that you know thousand of people.
B: You know what? That’s why can't talk to you
A: Don't talks to me like that, always is the same with you, I'm giving you an advice and you never do anything about it...
B: ok, whatever I delete them later
A: you always say the same thing and you never do it.
B: You know what? Whatever you say always the same, can we talk about something else? I got bored uhhhh
A: Ok as you want, but I'm going to tell my mom
B: ok whatever
A: Good byeeeeee!

(2B)- After reading about communication patterns I can say that as well, three logical premises arising from the foregoing. First: the verbal and non-verbal are inseparable. Second: this symbiosis between the two patterns indicates the need to attend to the process, to form, to how communication and a little less the content or what. And third: the fact alone is eloquent communication when we have that ability

Assignment one Verbal and non-verbal communication Verbal communication is speech that shares information from one person to another. Speech is a quicker way to communicate with people than to send emails or letters to the person you are trying to communicate with. When using verbal communication it’s important that the speaker uses clear speech and pronounces each individual word correctly this is so that the person listening clearly hears the message and confusion isn’t caused. Using the appropriate language is also important the person speaking needs to make sure they have considered the correct type of language to use for their audience, for example using formal…
