I have been playing baseball since the age of 5. I attend anywhere from 10 to as many as 30 brewer games a summer since high school. Preview: I will start by explaining the history of baseball in Milwaukee, key players to play in Milwaukee, and some of the Brewer’s most memorable moments. Played in Milwaukee County Stadium from 1953-1965 before moving to Atlanta (Barnes 2014) Bud Selig buys out the Seattle Pilots and relocates to Milwaukee to bring back professional baseball (Gilbert, 2008 p.4) Renamed to the brewers because of Milwaukee’s brewing industry (Gilbert, 2008 p. 7) 1996 the Brewers break ground on Miller Park, their current home 2001 the first game is played there, a 5-4 victory over the reds (Barnes 2014) (Transition Every organization has a “face of the franchise” or multiple faces at that. )Has anybody heard of Henry “Hank” Aaron?
