Mighty Minds with Power of Knowledge Can Rule the Minds of Millions
Mighty minds with power of knowledge can rule the minds of millions.
Knowledge plays an important role in all spheres of human life and activity. It is a powerful factor which helps man to attain success, power and position in life. There is no doubt that physical strength and money are instruments of power. A man who is physically strong or whose purse is full commands power over others.
But the power of knowledge is still greater. He is, however, a thinking animal. Knowledge directs his actions and enables him to find the difference between right and wrong, good and bad. It helps him overcome his weakness and faults and face dangers and difficulties with courage and confidence. It gives him mental, moral and spiritual advancement. Besides this, it is through knowledge that man has gained mastery over nature.
But knowledge isn’t power, until it’s applied
Can an axe man could cut a tree, if he just knew the technique, but didn’t perform his task! No an axe man has to lift the axe to cut the tree. Thus knowledge not being the only component is one of the components of achieving success. Only knowledge is not enough, to grab success one has to take necessary actions at appropriate time.
Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.
We would have been sitting in dark, if Edison had not invented a light bulb. If he just thought of making a light bulb but never gave effort to it , it wouldn’t have possible. He failed 100 times but still he didn’t loosed hope and finally succeeded. Though “success is achieved by those, who try and try again’’
Yes it is true that, knowledge plays an important role in the progress of art, literature, science, philosophy and religion. But without action how can we proceed forward, we can’t progress, we can’t prosper!
Also incorrect actions take us nowhere, and land us into ditch. They even makes the situation more difficult! And leads us to failure .
Thus knowledge and actions must go hand in

The phrase “Knowledge is power”, means that a person’s future awareness will increase with everything that they learn. As in Fredrick Douglas’s life, and within my own, our awareness has increased by learning about other people, even if not by our own choice. Though my own experiences have not been as drastic as Fredrick’s, they have been pretty wild.…

Knowledge is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world. One should only use their abilities for good and not for evil. There is a certain positive position taken when the words knowledge and individual power are placed together. As my mind flooded with emerging ideas to define my feelings and thoughts on these words I kept coming back to independence, healthy self esteem and accepting. Reading through the assigned stories and poems and there analysis by others, I found that they too concluded a certain theme of accepting others once they were more informed. My view and the excerpts from Lauren Axelrod well written analysis below seem to be the same. Knowledge gives self empowerment.…

Thomas Edison, one of the world's most legendary scientist of all time, was the first to invent a light bulb that radiated energy for hundreds of hours. As a child, teachers told Edison that he was “too stupid to learn anything”. Edison was also fired from countless jobs during his career. As an inventor, Edison made more than 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at developing the lightbulb. Each time Edison’s ideas failed, Edison asked himself questions like, “What happened?” and “What did I do wrong?”. This lead to further questioning like , “What did I learn?” ,“What should I have done differently” and “What do I need to do next time?”. Edison’s questions eventually lead to new theories which later resulted in the creation of the light bulb.…

Scientia potentia est. "Knowledge is power" is a commonly used phrase to try and simply define how knowledge can be used to create power for a person through use of a strong education. In the story Bargain by AB Guthrie, an immigrant owner of a general store tries to collect a debt, but the debtor does not want to pay. Instead, he fights the owner, and the owner kills him. Knowledge can be an essential trait to give someone a stable life, but is commonly considered to be a burden. Strength and ability and power are no match for academics and cleverness.…

Those who are more knowledgeable than others are often regarded as more sophisticated and intelligent than their peers in modern society. Although the acquisition of knowledge and the modernization of technology may bring about advancements in today’s civilization, these same concepts eventually cause humans to become dominated by these crutches that they rely so heavily on. Through reading Frankenstein, I noticed that the prevalent theme is that the abundance of knowledge can lead to dangerous consequences and drive one to their eventual fate.…

To defend this, however, we must evaluate the views of wisdom in regards to knowledge alone and self-knowledge. According to the view of wisdom through knowledge alone, a wise person has widespread knowledge about a multitude of topics, including literature, science, and mathematics. The principal rebuttal to this view argues that intelligence does not equate to wisdom. That is, comprehensive knowledge of…

It can either lead to greatness, or destroy a life, but nevertheless, knowledge is power(money means power, and money leads to opportunities, opportunities lead to success, success leads to happiness.), and power is useful to such a man as Charlie Gordon. “Raising the bar” so to speak. As he gained knowledge, he “raised his rank” in his social class, until he eventually was on top, seeing that many things in his life-that he has been to blind to see-have been holding him back from success,(success also leads to achievements). Although Charlie got shut out by his friends, this gave Charlie the opportunity to obtain more knowledge, creating a snowball effect of knowledge and power, to the point that he achieved…

There is a stating that the mistake is the mother of success. Could people only make discovery or progress through mistakes? I am afraid that I do not quite agree with such an assertion.
