Middle School Teacher There are many stages in life when a child goes through schooling. There are also many different abilities that a teacher would have to adapt to be able to successfully teach and communicate with the student. As a child grows they become more independent and less needing help and more of knowing what to do. All teachers: Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School, College, and more have their own teaching styles that fit the age group they teach. For this essay the age group is Middle School, or eleven to 14 years of age. This age group has their own learning style and they all more or less show the same learning style. He explained that he starts the day by preparing the day's lessons and answering emails. The most rewarding part of his job is helping kids realize the potential and ability in mathematics. The most frustrating is helping someone who doesn't want to be helped. He also explained how his schooling was quite rigorous and hard, there was lots of reading and writing and lots of time poured into becoming a teacher. He also explained that he starts off strict by setting boundaries and expectations of students and as long as they are met he is mellow. He also explains how in this stage of the children's life they are begging to learn more harder concepts and his reaction to someone having trouble is to clear up confusion. His way of solving confusion is by explaining it in a variety of ways to see the way the a students learns best and most efficiently, he also tries to connect his teaching into what is in style or hobbies of a student.
