Why you should settle in the Middle Colonies?

From Delaware to New Jersey, New York to Pennsylvania, there is this wonderfully diverse colony. This is the place you will want to get married, have children, and basically grow old in. This is the bread basket colony . This is the Middle colonies. This is the Quaker land, where you can randomly give complete strangers a ride. The Middle Colonies have rich soil, thus letting the region become a major exporter of wheat and other grains. Lumber and shipbuilding industries are very successful in the Middle Colonies. Again, the Middle Colonies are the most ethnically diverse British colonies in North America. Settlers come from all parts of Europe. Everyone had rights and religious freedom. This is very important because religious freedom is nothing but a joke to Great Britain.
We have also support political freedom. The Middle Colonies are generally ran by Royal and elected Colonial Assemblies. However, many constitutions guaranteed freedom of religion and prevented taxation without representation. This just means you don’t have to worry. Studies show only 1 out of 20 would ever go back to Britain’s controlling ways.
When you faced with a choice to either live or die which would you choose? Don’t live in fear of saying the wrong thing. Don’t live in fear of losing your jobs. Fear is not a pretty color. Fear makes you weak and stupid. Make the change you will be proud of. One you will look back and say I did the right thing not did I do the right thing. It’s up to you so what do you want to

During the seventh century, Europeans established colonies in North America. The English colonies were originally established because proprietors from England were granted charters to settle and govern lands. Other European colonies were established around trading posts. Over time, the English gained control of the thirteen colonies through force or purchase; eventually, by regions were known as the Southern, Middle and New England colonies. Although the colonies were under the control of the English and had many commonalities, each region created a distinct culture. These similarities and differences can be evidenced when comparing the role of African Americans, a role of women, and types of settlers of the Middle colonies and The Southern…

They had things that could keep a society successful, while having a few things that were set in stone as well. The Middle Colonies were, as mentioned, filled with different religions such as: Quakers, Mennonites, Lutherans, Dutch Calvinists and Presbyterians. These colonies in specific had a wide range of religions to become a part of and that helped with keeping colonists happy. With the Middle Colonies, no one religion could favor highly over another; in other words, the Quakers couldn’t dominate over Lutherans, just as Lutherans couldn’t dominate over Dutch…

In British America, there are some differences and similarities of the northern, middle, and southern colonies. When you talk about one’s climate and geography; New England, the middle, and the southern colonies all have the same similarity in which they all have hills, mountains, lakes, or waterways. New England has long, cold winters with hot, short summer and the middle has mild winters and summers while the southern colony is a year around growing season. Economics in New England, the middle, and the southern colonies also have a few similarities and differences. When it came to trade, they all trade with other colonies and direct exchange with Europe. New England and the middle colony had a couple of the same products; timber and fish. Furs also being a product of New England and grains, fruits/vegies, and iron being products of the middle colony. The culture for each colony is mostly different for the exception of New England and the southern colony; they are both largely English. Religion within the colonies are all different; New England believe in no religious freedom, the middle colony believes in religious freedom, and the southern colony believes in episcopal.…

Both the New England colonies and the Southern colonies seemed as though they might be the same. They both started out with the majority of people being from England, they were both in the New World, and they were both ruled by England but, as time went on this theory was proven wrong. The New England colonies and the Southern colonies had many common characteristics but these two regions were very different geographically, politically, and socially.…

I was born in a country where basketball was not so popular. It was mostly for the rich people, because they were the ones that could afford paying lots of money to the coach, and the team to be able to play and learn the game. Since there wasn't too many basketball coaches in Iran, we didn't have many basketball teams for different age groups. Out of all of my friends I had in Iran for the 11 years I lived there, only one of them played basketball in a league. He wasn't even playing for his own age group either, he was playing 1 year up. He was really good of what I could remember, but I just thought that because I didn't know how to play. Has something like that happened to you ever when you see somebody doing something and you know nothing about it and think to yourself "WOW, he's really good", but it turns out they only know the basics!!! Now remember this, that only one of my friends played basketball, and he was really good; because we will get to this later on in the story.…

While Arab and Malay sailors knew of Mauritius as early as the 10th century CE and Portuguese sailors first visited in the 16th century, the island was first colonized in 1638 by the Dutch. Mauritius was populated over the next few centuries by waves of traders, planters and their slaves, indentured laborers, merchants, and artisans. The island was named in honor of Prince Maurice of Nassau by the Dutch, who abandoned the colony in 1710.…

The New England and Chesapeake colonies were both settled by English colonists. Most colonists moving from Great Britain to New England were families searching for religious salvation, rather than mostly the single men that traveled to the Chesapeake area in search of wealth. The immigrants of the Chesapeake area were greeted with a climate and soil that were perfect for cultivating tobacco, cotton, indigo, and rice. Those settling in New England could not rely on farming to support themselves because of the rocky soil in the north. While the majority of the Chesapeake colonists were not as cohesive due to the great distance from farms to these towns, New England had close-knit church events, meetings, and schools. Although, the New England and Chesapeake colonies were both settled by people at English origin, by 1700 the regions had evolved into two distinct societies because of motives, environment, and towns/communities.…

The three colonial regions which were controlled by the British were founded in the years of 1607 and 1732. The inhabitants of the regions were primarily men which is why society was not a big patriarchal society. Although, the colonies made up one huge colony not each region was alike, they were very distinct in religion, economic and political structures. These areas were divided into three regions which were New England, Middle and Southern colonies. Each region contained in own unique way of living, based on the culture of the people, as well as their topography. The dissimilarities amongst the regions were perhaps the very reason the colonies were able to persevere and eventually grow into a sovereign nation. Each colony came to the new continent for different reasons and created settlements with distinct economic, political,…
