Job Search Techniques Seminar
Come meet Dr. Stanley Davidson, Director of Career Services at California University. The seminar will focus on topics from his new book, The Job Search. The book discusses how to identify job opportunities and make the most of the techniques available for obtaining the position. “This isn’t another book about how to write a resume, this book will help you develop the techniques necessary to get the job that’s right for you.” (Davidson) This seminar will be Tuesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stern Building Auditorium.
Fall Etiquette Dinner
This event is designed to introduce State University students to proper etiquette using a hands-on approach. Students attending will be diners at a four-course meal. Certified etiquette consultant, Jamie Price, will host the event. Prior to the meal, there will be a short discussion on proper etiquette. Then during the meal, suggestions will be made to help students improve their etiquette skills. At the conclusion of the meal, students will receive an etiquette packet. The event will be held Tuesday, October 29, at 8 p.m., in the Student Union Ballroom. Registration and a fee of $25 are required.

Fall Career Fair
The career fair will be held in the Grant Hughes Coliseum on Wednesday, October 10, from noon to 4 p.m. All students and alumni are invited to attend. For a full list of employers and organizations, visit the Career Services Web site at www.state.edu/career_services.html.
Regular Services
Mock Interview Tuesdays
Every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., a Career Services staff member holds mock interviews in the Student Union, Meeting Room A. Registration is not required.
Roundtable Wednesdays
Roundtable Wednesdays are weekly career development roundtable discussions. Open to all State University students and employees, these discussions start at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Union, Meeting Room C. Here is the
