Remember the time.

Michael Jackson is someone who requires no introduction. A master in the art of entertainment whose name will be remembered worldwide for days to come. Jackson’s musical video “Remember the time” takes the spectator in a time travel journey to the ancient times in Egypt. A spectacular setting, incredible costumes, great choreography as expected, and in it’s cast some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. From the beginning to the end Jackson and the producers, as well as everyone involved in it make the video entertaining and interesting, because it includes a story as well.

Setting is one of the most important characteristics of this particular music video. The music video is set on Egypt. It begins in a temple and then leads us to the roads of the city back and forth. The palace is impressive, the floor is neat and the area of the palace is spacious, as expected almost everything is desert sand color. In the palace gold is visible in a good amount to the eye of the viewer, in the roads of the city there is hardly anything gold around, they show a portion of a market and it was very well accommodated to make it look real enough.

Furthermore, one of the things that really show off in this music video is the costume everyone wore, from the servants to the slaves, to the pharaoh and Jackson’s costume they were all made right for the setting. Jewelry is something that is seen in the palace, the queen wears an exquisite gold/silk dress as well as a gold necklace and a royal hat made out of gold. Moreover, the pharaoh wears a greenish gold royal necklace as well, also made out of gold. Servants, slaves and soldiers they all wear mostly the same exact things. Choreography as expected is executed in style by Jackson and its partners, which in this case they are the servants.

It is not impressive to think that Michael Jackson had a lot of influences and

As President, Andrew Jackson worked to pull apart the Second Bank of the United States. The original Bank of the United States had been introduced in 1791 by Alexander Hamilton as a way of organizing the federal government's finances. This first Bank became invalid in 1811. It was followed by the second Bank, put together by James Madison in 1816 to reduce the economic problems caused by the War of 1812. Both Banks were involved in the growth of the U.S. economy, but President Jackson did not approve of the concept on ideal grounds. In President Jackson's opinion, the Bank needed to be abolished because it was unconstitutional. It also concentrated an excessive amount of the nation's financial strength. It exposed the government to control by foreign interests. It put too much control over members of the U.S. Congress. It favored northeastern states over southern and western states. President Jackson's opposition to the Bank was evident as a strong personal dislike.…

Some notable artists who had influences on Michael are Little Richard, Diana Ross, and James Brown. The Little Richard influence is obvious, as his behaviors alone helped pave the way for more eccentric and flamboyant personas and performances in the musical world, and the words eccentric and flamboyant definitely describe Michael. Michael stated that Diana Ross helped him perfect his vocal technique and he also started using the “oooh” interjection which came from Diana Ross. As for James Brown, Michael also said this powerful statement about him, “And when I saw him move, I was mesmerized. I had never seen a performer perform like James Brown, and right then and there I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life because of James Brown.” Michael’s main influences were R&B, soul, and pop, but you can hear much more genres of music bleeding through his works such as rock, blues, and…
