Michael Hillegus was the first treasurer for the United States. He was a well off man with many qualities that made him an excellent fit for his job as treasurer. As a treasurer he was responsible for handling money affairs. Such an important job requires certain calibre to be done well. I believe i possess such skills to carry out this duty. Firstly, to start off i am exceedingly responsible, well organized, and i am excellent at staying on tasks. Its very important that said person in the position has at least adequate math skills. Not only do i possess math skills, i am comfortable with working with figures. If asked i will be able to explain the figures and answer questions.
