Miami County Substance Abuse Case Study
Miami County has the potential to be the marvelous county everyone envisions it being. Miami County boasts high quality schools; it has plentiful local businesses to provide jobs; and it possesses splendid people from all walks of life. The one situation that restricts Miami County is the drug epidemic. Once this county discovers a solution to this problem, it will tap into it’s bountiful potential. Currently, Miami County currently ranks 7th in the state in meth use, the Indiana Police Department (IDP) states, and in 2013 alone, police seized 8 meth labs in Peru.
