Abstract
Kraft Foods established in 1903 has been in existence for over a century and is a household name. It's a company that when spoken of a thought of Mac-n-Cheese or dairy products come to mind but it is so much more. This organization has progressed dramatically over the years buying over other companies, improving existing brands, and introducing new product lines. Today, Kraft Food products include beverages, cheese, dairy, and snack foods. How has Kraft been able to thrive? Is it because they are striving to ensure that their Mission, Vision, and Values are easily understood and achievable?
Mission Statement, Growth Plan (Goals), and Analysis
The Kraft Food Group is constantly evolving, rebranding them to be the world’s premiere food group. Their Mission is simple though depending on where you pull the statement it is written two different ways – end result the meaning is the same; they are to: “Make Kraft THE North American Food and Beverage Company” and/or/
“To Become North America’s Favorite Food and Beverage Company” both include

From and investors standpoint Kraft Group believes if they can achieve profitable top line growth, consistent bottom-line growth, and superior dividend payouts it will make them “THE Best Investment in the Industry”. Their growth plan (Goals) in order to fulfill their mission for investors is by: Making their People their Competitive Edge, to Execute with Excellence, Turbocharge their Iconic Brands, and Redefine Efficiency. Make its People its Competitive Edge - plans to create a more “nimble, less-layered” organization; unleashing employee skill sets, encouraging creativity from its personnel.
