Mexico has a very interesting Christmas. In Mexico they say Feliz Navidad that means Merry Christmas. The Posada is party that begins the celebrations. The celebrations start on December 16th and end on February 2nd. Most kids don't believe in santa they believe in The Three Kings which are the wise men. They decorate with flowers moss and evergreens, poinsettias and a nativity scene. A nativity scene is the story of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. The poinsettia is a plant that is red,pink and white. Both Mexico and the USA celebrate Christmas but in very different ways. America and Mexico celebrate for the same reason. Mary and Joseph were traveling to Bethlehem on a donkey. To be counted for in the census. An angel told Mary and Joseph they would have a baby. All the inns were full but a innkeeper offered them a stable. Mary gave birth to a baby named Jesus. they laid him in a manger full of straw. A Eastern Angel appeared and the angels, shepherds,The Three Kings followed the star. They brought gifts the gifts were gold,myrrh,frankincense. This is why christmas is celebrated.

A few believe in santa claus but many believe in The Three Kings. The Three Kings are from the first christmas story. The Three Kings deliver there gifts on January 6th in their shoes they put on the window sill. However in America our santa claus is called santa claus he wears a red coat with white fur trimming. How he gets from house to house is he drives a sleigh pulled by reindeer. Santa get in our house by coming down the chimney. He comes on christmas eve (December 24). He leaves presents under the christmas tree. We Open them on Christmas day(December 25)That's how christmas in Mexico and America are
