If money and time were not a factor, I would like to help answer what it will take to make nuclear fusion a reality. Despite the dangers that nuclear scientists face every day such as radiation and the possibility of a nuclear catastrophe, I find this undertaking to be one of the most important of the era. Once fully realized, nuclear fusion can provide cleaner and cheaper energy. While many advances have been made in this field over the decades, the solution has not been found yet. This challenge would be an extremely enjoyable one for me, especially because of my love for physics.…

The discovery of copper does not have an exact date. Copper is said to be a prehistoric element. This element was said to be first discovered around 8000BC. This helped a lot because stones were harder to carve, but copper is easy to bend and shape. But what exactly is the element copper? Copper found in the periodic table in Group eleven. Two jurisdictions of law exist in Australia: equity and common law. ‘Equity is ‘the body of law developed by the Court of Chancery in England before 1873. Its justification was that it corrected, supplemented and amended the common law. It softened and modified many of the injustices at common law, and provided remedies where, at law, they were either inadequate or non-existent.’[1] Common law is ‘the unwritten law derived from the traditional law of England as developed by judicial precedence, interpretation, expansion and modification.’[2] The complete fusion of these jurisdictions has not yet occurred. The two “streams” of jurisdiction have merged in some areas as the law has developed, but are technically still separate. This essay will prove this claim using the equitable doctrines of estoppel and fiduciary obligations and will then discuss remedies.…

If an Australian lawyer were asked about the significance of 1975 in the development of Australian law, he or she would no doubt point to the famous constitutional crisis that culminated, on Armistice Day of that year, in the use by the Governor-General of the ‘reserve powers’ to dismiss the government of the day. That event generated great legal and political controversy for many years, and ‘left many unresolved problems’.[2] Yet, except as an issue in the now muted republican debate,[3] it is not currently a matter of focus in constitutional law; nor is it part of the consciousness of young Australians. Another, less dramatic, event in 1975 has had a more profound and lasting effect on the fabric of Australian law:…
