Mesothelioma Persuasive Speech

- Excerpt from an actual television commercial that I have heard aired in my home state of Florida, July 2015.

As someone who enjoys watching local television programming, I have seen countless commercials like these aired for years during various television shows, and many other advertisements for mesothelioma and asbestos related lawsuits on the radio, online, and in print in things such as newspapers and magazines. Seeing and hearing all of these peculiar advertisements for this medical condition called “mesothelioma” made me curious: what exactly is this condition? Why exactly is it featured in so many advertisements for class action lawsuit for those that have been affected by it? Why should I as just one college student and the public in general be concerned about it and its dangers?
