As time progresses, computers continue to contribute to the advancement of humanity. They influence it in a way that benefits and connects today's society. Computer Science ensures what we have and use now can only get better. It is the fuel that keeps me involved passionately with computers. My goal is to simplify, and advance the computer. I plan to have a career as a Software Developer. I have many opportunities with a CS degree. I would like to start my own game development studio. My interest for computers began when I was a child. I began to study, and familiarize myself with the very essence of the computer. Computers have always been of great significance to me. I participated in all activities, clubs, and societies in high school that had anything to do with computers and electronics. When I was deciding what field of study I would major in I factored what my father always said, “Choose something difficult…something that will make a difference.” I chose Computer Science because of the impact computers have on society. The endless possibilities computers present are fascinating. I consider a scholarship from UAH to be an excellent opportunity to further develop my knowledge in Computer Science. I would be studying under the direction of the highly experienced specialists, which UAH has to offer. I am confident that UAH is the best place to continue my education in the field I have chosen, and that tutelage I will get at UAH is second to none. I also believe that it is the best place for me to find use of my abilities and make a contribution to society.…

How long will it be before tiny robots the size of cells run through our bodies fighting off any disease possible? How long will it be before we are so wrapped up in our machines that the average contact with another person is non existent? Is technology becoming our savior or our executioner? To day's technology by far overshadows what was possible even 20 years ago. There are games so close to real life that if given a picture of a real building and a computer generated one that only a professional can tell the difference. There are prosthetic body parts that that can be controlled with only a thought. Though its not a full proof technology who would have thought it would've been possible 20 years ago?…

    Computers in Our Society

Don’t know anything about computers? Don’t think they are a big part of your life? Think again! Computers are wondrous machines that improve our lives in many areas like education, entertainment, and work.(Paragraph)The use of computers in and out of school has made improvements in the way we learn. For instance, “the use of computers in the classroom has freed up some of my time so I can give more individualized instruction to the needy,” says Instructor Mary S. Teachemall of a local neighborhood grade school is a definite improvement over not having computers as a way of learning. Also, college students having easy access to computers for various school related tasks’ like changing complete blocks of text on a term paper in a split second, using graphics to better express a particular point or idea, and being able to tap into the world wide web where vast amounts of information is at the fingertips of the user is a marked improvement from 10 years ago. Furthermore, the use of computers in the home has extended the hours we can learn at a higher level without the environmental pressures of school or work thereby improving the way we learn.(paragraph)Also, the use of computers has expanded our choices for entertainment. As an example, the all-American game of Monopoly can be played by a single person and a computer and the need for several people has been obsoleted is one way our choices for entertainment have been expanded. Another example of our expanding choices is that you can not only watch movies on DVD (Digital Video Disc) but re-edit them with your own sound tracks and special effects, listen to music on CD-rom’s, even manufacture your own cartoons or even your own movies all on a computer. Moreover, the ability of the computer to link a person with others from far away places where conversations without inferences are sparked and ideas are exchanged internationally is a popular selection for millions everyday as a…

Agriculture is a vital sector of Pakistan's economy and accounted for almost 30 percent of GDP annually, according to government estimates. The sector directly supports three-quarters of the country's population, employs half the labor force, and contributes a large share of foreign exchange earnings. The main agricultural products are cotton, wheat, rice, sugarcane, fruits, and vegetables, in addition to milk, beef, mutton, and eggs. Pakistan depends on one of the world's largest irrigation systems to support production.…

I tend to agree that young children can be negatively affected by too much time spent on the computer every day. This is partly because sitting in front of the screen for too long can be damaging to both the eyes and the physical posture of a young child, regardless of what they are using the computer for.…

Let us begin by taking for granted a large growth in public expenditure as a proportion of output in all western industrialised economies. We shall then concentrate on attempts to explain the growth of the public sector. We need to remind ourselves, however, of the distinction between resource-using public expenditure and transfer payments since some of the theories below are concerned only with resource-using expenditure (that is, public expenditure on goods and services and on domestic fixed capital formation), arguing that the reasons for the growth of transfer payments might be quite different.…
