Mercy Hospital is a 473-bed Catholic acute care hospital located in Miami Florida. Known as the only Catholic hospital in Miami-Dade County, Mercy adheres to its catholic heritage and explains this in detail on their website. After being purchased by Health Corporation of America (HCA) in 2011, one of the largest for-profit health systems in the United States, the hospital continues to operate “in accordance with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.” Manuel P.
