1. Einführung Mercedes-Benz Zetros is the product of Daimler AG headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden – Württemberg, Germany. More than a century Mercedes-Benz has been known for its high quality products which are more efficient. It is same for trucks as well. Zetros are the off-road trucks which are built mainly to perform most difficult terrain. It is a multi-purpose vehicle used from rescue to construction in most extreme temperatures. Zetros is a combination of decade long off-road know-how and modern technology that gives a robust ability to perform. Zetros is one of the vehicles which enjoy the legendary position even today from its conventional design. It is well known for its safety measures for its crew whatever the situation may be. Its traditional low height design which makes it easier for rail or air transport. The truck is designed to be compatible with the Hercules C-130 transport and also fits into a standard German railway carriage1

2. Geschichte Mercedes-Benz is the world’s oldest automotive brand that is surviving still today. The brand started its origin with Karl Benz’s first petrol-powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, patented in January 1886 and Gottlieb Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach's conversion of a stagecoach by the addition of a petrol engine later that year. The Mercedes automobile was first marketed in 1901 by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicles were produced in 1926, following the merger of Karl Benz's and Gottlieb Daimler's companies into the Daimler-Benz company. Throughout the 1930s, Mercedes-Benz produced the 770 model, a car that was popular during Germany's Nazi period. Adolf Hitler was known to have driven multiple of these cars during his time in power, with bulletproof windshields. Mercedes-Benz has introduced many technological and safety innovations that later became common in other vehicles.

3. Produkte Mercedes-Benz products vary in wide ranges from bicycles to buses with wide variation in style and markets. Mercedes products are well established and present all around the world. The scope of this paper ends with Zetros which is a best performance truck of Mercedes.










Mercedes-Benz Trucks –“Trucks you can Trust”4 Mercedes-Benz Trucks is now part of the Daimler Trucks division, and includes companies that were part of the DaimlerChrysler merger. Gottlieb Daimler sold the world's first truck in 1886. After 1960s with increase logistics and transportation, the truck division has grown in an enormous way by releasing different series like L, NG(Neue Generation), SK(Schwere Klasse), MB700 and MB800. In 2000s after heavy competition in the market from Volvo, Man, etc., Daimler trucks division decided to produce trucks considering different market segments and based on different purposes.
