Mentor's Archetype In The Movie 'Inside Out'
In “Inside Out” the story tellers use the archetype “Mentor” to show how as humans we all need someone to help us along with life and teach us the correct ways so then when we grow up we can teach the younger generation.
Mentors teach us what is bad and good to overall protects us from danger. At the beginning of the movie when Riley was young it shows in the movie that Riley is running around. When she is running she is about to trip over a cord but, right before she does fear steps in and saves her. This shows that humans need other things to guide us to help us get through life. If fear was not present Riley would’ve hurt herself.
Mentors can give us mental support to complete difficult tasks. At the middle of the movie Joy was dragging
