I am currently studying for my master’s degree in Human Service Counseling with a concentration in Executive Leadership at Liberty University, from which I have an anticipated graduation date of May 2015. It is my desire and passion to work with teenagers, particularly adolescent girls.
I am presently enrolled in Biblical Foundations of Christian Leadership (LEAD 510) and I am writing to formally request an interview with you regarding your ministry leadership and mentoring relationships that you have formed over the years. I have admired your leadership and mentoring over the past two years and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to sit down with you and learn more about your leadership style and to gain any insight that you have with mentoring, especially with teenagers.

Research has shown that this statement can be true for some executives but not for all. Some experts believe that just having mentor relationships can or cannot affect someone’s career path and development.
