Subject: IKOT La Salle Tracker

Introduction and Recommendation
In the past 6 years of implementing a jeepney transportation or also known as Ikot La Salle is very helpful in the University. Walking inside the campus in 27 hectares is not appropriate; students, faculty, and also visitors can ride in Ikot La Salle. With the help of Ikot La Salle it will just take 2-5 minutes in the route of Magdalo Gate (Gate 1) bound to Magdiwang Gate (Gate 3) instead of eight to ten minutes. Ikot La Salle helps the students, to lessen their time spending in walking. But one of the problems that you will encounter is you will wait for the Ikot and it will took so much time and there is an instances that you are waiting for the vehicle and yet it is in breaktime. One solution for this problem is, Ikot La Salle Tracker. It is a device that determined the exact location of the user (it is also where the GPS unit is located).
Cost and Benefits
Usage of GPS Shield, GPRMS/GSM Shield and GizDuino microcontroller in developing Ikot Tracker will benefit the university. These are the device attached to the jeepney, it receives data through sms and displays its current location in the areas plotted in the map and has corresponding pictures to be clearer on its location. It should have an application and must be downloadable in smartphones to make an update to the students, faculty, and visitors whom are interested to have a ride for Ikot La Salle. For installing these devices it will cost P3, 000 and for making an application for this tracker will range P1, 000 to P2, 000.
Conclusion
Ikot La Salle tracker will help a lot and also benefits the school for this technology. A tracker can help us determine exactly where the vehicle at any given moment. Not only can a tracker give you the name of the

25-4 This guidance addresses what constitutes minimum lease payments under the minimum-lease-payments criterion in paragraph 840-10-25-1(d) from the perspective of the lessee and the lessor. Lease payments that depend on a factor directly related to the future use of the leased property, such as machine hours of use or sales volume during the lease term, are contingent rentals and, accordingly, are excluded from minimum lease payments in their entirety. (Example 6 [see paragraph 840-10-55-38] illustrates this guidance.) However, lease payments that depend on an existing index or rate, such as the consumer price index or the prime interest rate, shall be included in minimum lease payments based on the index or rate existing at lease inception; any increases or decreases in lease payments that result from subsequent changes in the index or rate are contingent rentals and thus affect the determination of income as accruable. (Example 7 [see paragraph 840-10-55-39] illustrates this guidance.)…

Although the Aztecs and the Incas were both isolated groups with a powerful and elite middle class in South America that existed around the same time, the empires developed different political means. The Aztecs were a major tribe/civilization located in Central Mexico. The Incas were also a tribe/civilization located in Peru. While their geographic locations were completely different, they had established a society with a unique form of political structure. Even though they were both centralized governments, they still differed in many ways. They also had some few similarities.…

Date: 4-11-09Re: Case 3-5A.Discuss the concept of relevance. In your opinion, would the amounts reported by U.S. companies for property, plant, and equipment be more or less relevant than the current cost amounts reported by companies in England, Mexico, or elsewhere?RelevanceInformation is relevant when it influences the economic decisions of users by helping them evaluate past, present, and future or by confirming or correcting their past evaluations. Relevance is also affected by materiality. Information has the quality of relevance when it is 'capable of making a difference in the economic decisions of users by helping them evaluate the effect of past and present events on future net cash inflows (predictive value) or confirm or correct previous evaluations(confirmatory value), even if it is not being used' (FASB, 2005: 2; FASB 1980: 37). In the IASB framework information has the quality of relevance 'when it influences the economic decisions of users by helping them evaluate past, present of future events or confirming, or correcting, their past evaluations' (IASB, 1989: 24). Both frameworks thus say that accounting information is relevant if it has the capacity to make a difference in a decision. The FASB requires information to be capable of making a difference in the economic decisions of users 'even if it is not being used'. However, to be relevant the IASB definition additionally requires that information is used i.e. influences the decision maker in making economic decisions. Another small difference between the FASB and IASB framework is the FASB framework explicitly mentions that relevant information has to have predictive and feedback value, while the IASB uses these terms implicit in its framework. 'The predictive and confirmatory roles of information are interrelated (IASB,1989: 27).…

371). A technological solution for this problem is the implementation of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL). AVL works by using GPS on patrol cars and radio waves that are sent every so often to identify the location of patrol officers so that the administrator can keep track of where officers are spending their time during their patrol shift (Weisburd et al., 2015, pg. 371). Moreover, the AVL technology has the ability to determine the status of the officers such as whether they are responding to a service call; patrolling a hot spot; patrolling an area inside their beat; patrolling an area outside the beat, or just conducting a random patrol (Weisburd et al., 2015, pg.…

The first activity that we do in our fieldtrip is that plotting every point that we passed from TIPQC to Cavite by using GPS. It is very fun when plotting a point using GPS it is very convenient because GPS will easily track the location of the point and also its elevation by simply click the right button to gather the data needed. I observed in this part that GPS is very useful in surveying when it comes to tracking location and gathering data needed but it will also cause of hard time in gathering data needed if the user are not familiarized or not oriented in using such device like GPS and maybe failed to gathered accurate data for worst.…
