Akapulko - is used as herbal medicine and is a shrub that grows wild in the tropical climate of Philippines.
Uses:
Treat fungal infections, like ringworms, scabies and eczema..
Treat intestinal problems including intestinal parasites.
Treat bronchitis and asthma
Yerba Buena- is a rambling aromatic herb of the mint family that is known and used as herbal medicine worldwide. Uses:
Treats Rheumatism and Arthritis
Treats Colds and Cough
Treats Menstrual Pain
Treats Swollen Gums
Treats Nausea and Fainting
Treats Insect Bites

Sambong scientific Name: Blumea balsamifera
Sambong leaves - are known for its ngai or Blumea camphor that is used as herbal medicine to treat kidney stones, wounds and cuts, rheumatism, anti-diarrhea, anti-spasms, colds and coughs and hypertension.

Santan Scientific name Ixora coccinea Linn. In the Philippines, root decoction used as sedative in the treatment of nausea, hiccups, and loss of appetite.
Uses:
Used for dysenteric diarrhoea and associated colic pains.
Flowers used for dysentery and leucorrhoea.
Poultice fresh leaves and stems for sprains, eczema, boils and contusions.
Diluted tincture of roots for mouthwash and gargles for sore throat.
Flower decoction used for hypertension, amenorrhea and irregular menstruation, haemoptysis, catarrhal bronchitis.
Decoction of leaves for wounds and skin ulcers.

Balimbing Scientific name Averrhoa pentandra Blanco
Uses:
Juice of fresh fruit for affections of the eyes.
Seed is used for asthma and colic: Powdered seeds
Leaves applied externally for fevers.
Fruit syrup used as cooling drink for fevers.
Decoction of leaves and fruit used to arrest vomiting.
Fruit is laxative; also used for hematemesis, melena and other forms of haemorrhages.
