Industry Profile: Medical Transcription is one of the fastest growing industries. Presently only around 3% of the total medical transcription work available in the US is being done in India. * Medical transcription is a part of health care industry which is itself recession free. * Demand for Medical transcription will continue as long as people need health care. * The demand for trained medical transcription professionals has been increasing while the number of available transcriptionists in U.S.A has not been increasing at a similar rate.
