The McGinty Family Foundation was established in 1989 with the goal of improving the quality of education in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties through the distribution of grants to schools and teachers. It started with a foundation donation pool of $3 million to be distributed as grants. To date, they have been able to give $6 million in funds to local schools in order to buy books, uniforms, computers, and many other educational tools to improve the quality of life of the population. One way to achieve this would be through holding dinners, banquets and other similar events, and inviting as many potential recipients as possible. This way, not only will target corporations be aware of the motivating mission of the McGinty Foundation, but they will also feel obligated to apply, as the Foundation is providing a free service for educational representatives.
