The McGinty Family Foundation was established in 1989 with the goal of improving the quality of education in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties through the distribution of grants to schools and teachers. It started with a foundation donation pool of $3 million to be distributed as grants. To date, they have been able to give $6 million in funds to local schools in order to buy books, uniforms, computers, and many other educational tools to improve the quality of life of the population. Their pricing strategies are based off teacher requests, teacher applications, and current year budget; with that being said McGinty needs to be aware of the economic condition of the school. The schools that are in worse shape should be the first to receive aid.

McGinty is focused on getting their idea of quality education out in the public, but if they lack the adequate funding needed to give to the schools teacher, they should look to making partnerships with others so as to still help their customers. Over the next three years, the Foundation should reach out to two potential partnerships in order to help as many people as possible. By finding other foundations, not only will they be able to give more grants, but they will also spread their message to similar organizations who may not have initially had those beliefs. We feel the best way for the foundation to both realize their mission and obtain meaningful donations is through promoting their idea as much as possible. There are numerous ways for the foundation to achieve this promotion. One way to achieve this would be through holding dinners, banquets and other similar events, and inviting as many potential recipients as possible.
