I would consider Redbox to be an innovative company that was founded about 14 years ago and lately has become a hot commodity. Amazingly, Redbox were founded within McDonald’s fast food restaurant as an option for customers to rent a movie after grabbing a bite to eat. In the beginning, Redbox was tested at more than 800 McDonald’s restaurants across the United States that was very successful.
Due to much success, the parent company of Redbox called Outerwall Inc. came to an agreement with McDonald’s to invest in Redbox by leveraging its retail knowledge to expand the Redbox footprint outside of McDonald’s restaurants.
