Leader is someone who can influence others and who has a managerial skills and authority. While leadership, is the process of influencing a group to achieve goals that the organization has set. One would imagine that the manager would almost always use position power and would use a telling style of leadership since the typical employee is young or inexperienced. Transactional leader is the leaders who lead primarily by using social exchanges; they guide and motivate their followers to work towards established goals by exchanging rewards for their productivity. The safety of employees in the professional workplace should of course be the first concern of management and Human Resources. Occupational health and safety topics are usually required training for HR professionals and managers in certain industries offering guidelines and issue mandates to protect the safety of employees. However, of course much can be done in the area of safety; many industries still suffer from high fatality and injury rates. That why McDonald top-level manger can reward there branch manager by giving them more bounces, if there branch was free of work injury, and all the health and safety precaution was taken. This is one of the ways where McDonalds can use to improve employees health and safety.
