Maze Runner By James Dashner

Let’s imagine that you were stuck in a huge grassland with a huge wall, which leads into a maze. The only way out you think is the end of that maze, what do you you do. That is what these 12 characters had to do, and the grassland is not easy to live in. This book is called Maze Runner, it is a non-fiction written by James Dashner. I think that this book was very well written and described. There was something about it that it felt like I was in a movie, when I read it. “Maze Runner” takes place as I said earlier in a huge grassland, which the main characters called the Glade. They described the walls of the maze being 200-300 feet high. The plot of this story was 12 kids got dropped off in the Glade all at different times. They were taken from their families, and brainwashed just remembering their name. The people that put them in there where people testing them on their survival skills. The name of the corporation is called Wicked. This is Thomas describing his first time seeing the wall, "How could these walls move? They're huge,
They went in that maze day in day out to find a way out, that shows resilience. Also, you could say that friendship and teamwork will prevail as the best way through a situation because without Newt and Thomas friendship, I really don’t know if they could of got out. They were big contributors to find the way out. Yes there is Minho who also ran in the maze with Thomas, and he also made a complete map of the maze, but with Thomas’s running, and Newt’s leadership it made everything run a lot smoother. Thomas shook his head. "No, you don't get it. They're weeding us out, seeing if we'll give up, finding the best of us. Throwing variables at us, trying to make us quit. Testing our ability to hope and fight. Sending Teresa here and shutting everything down was only the last part, one more… final analysis. Now it's time for the last test. To escape."
