Summer Book Review
Over the summer I read the book, The Maze Runner, by James Dasher. This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. The book was full of suspense and each chapter was written perfectly. I liked how the book was science fiction but not over the top because the characters were believable and relatable. I could not put the book down once I started to read it. It felt like I was there with the characters experiencing everything that they were. The book is about a boy named Thomas who is whipped of his memory and is taken away to a unknown place. All around his there is a giant maze and the only way out of this world is to escape the maze. There are monsters in the maze called Grievers which only come out at night time. He is protected from these beasts at night with a giant wall surrounding them. He and his peers must try and escape before they all die.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspenseful books and likes a lot of action. There is a lot of violence towards the end of the book and should not be read by people who don’t like violence. Also, the book has some science fiction in it so the book is not for everyone. When finishing the book I saw that there were two chapters of the next book. This made me very happy and now I can’t wait until I get my hands on the next book.
