It depends on the time period. But it was a good thing that they moved around a lot because that helped reveal the development in culture in the region. But it’s been recorded that they were usually all in Mexico or Central America. Today, in the modern Mayan civilization, there aren’t many left that still farm in the same land, or travel the same rivers as ancient Mayans. Somehow for a period of time, because there houses were vacant and no one saw of them for many years. This was proven wrong, though because they just moved to another area for a few years. This certain tribe had many government ideas. But instead of men doing the trials, the women were in charge in court. Women could influence state affairs at the highest level. Men usually only held to be the ruler of the more important things. They were usually in charge of government, fighting, etc. But this specific civilization decided women should be in charge of government. Women influenced more on the government then the men of this tribe. This was because women were more respectful and patient than
