In the article, Dowd quoted what a doctor had stated. She felt as if there were too many cases in her trauma center, and even said that she wished it would close down. This is a very strong, influential statement. It proves that the number of citizens getting hurt daily is very overbearing. It is even too much for a doctor to handle, and it is also very depressing. Dowd is showcasing the validity of what the doctor believes by commenting on Obama.
Dowd is not a fan of Obama, she subliminally targets him as the fault to all this chaos. Obama has lost the control of the country, not being able to connect with the citizens he once was so close too. Dowd was very biased towards Obama. She was against all of his actions, and everyone she incorporated in her article was as well. Moreover, Dowd was able to inform her audience about the dangers and disunity of America. She was also able to discuss the faulty decisions that the President Obama tends to make. As well as, targeting the secrets of the White House. Dowd truly informed the citizens of America, opening their eyes to the truth.
