NEXT STEPS for LICENSEE ACTION
Mattel is committed to providing fair and safe working conditions and quality and safe merchandise to our customers. As a Licensee of Mattel-branded product, you have an important role in ensuring that working conditions meet Mattel Global Manufacturing Principles Code of Conduct and that all licensed products adhere to all Quality and Safety standards of the region in which such Licensed Product is sold. Please review and abide by the requirements of the attached GMP and Quality & Safety Guidelines. Disseminate GMP and Product Quality requirements to ensure that all Facilities involved in Mattelbranded production have been fully informed about the expectations and the importance of compliance. We suggest that each Facility conduct a GMP and Quality Self-Assessment using the Checklists on (p.13 and p. 27). COMPLETE FORM: Facility Declaration Letter: Complete the Facility Declaration Letter (FDL) form, listing the name and address for all of the Facilities (owned and subcontracted/third-party Facilities) where Mattelbranded products are produced. Keep Mattel informed of all Facilities actively used, notifying us as soon as a Facility is added or is no longer used. SUBMIT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Equivalent Code of Conduct (ECOC) Audit Reports: Prior to a GMP audit, submit ECOC social audit reports for any Facility for which you request consideration of an exemption from a GMP Audit.
