One example is, major news networks often have creditable correspondents and guests to explain the news. Another example, is a major one; breaking news is an important part of the news. Satire news like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report is recorded and, like Moore states do not show breaking news. Breaking news like active shooter situations, major bad weather or any other news breaking news is often important to know at the moment instead hours later on a prerecord program. A good news satire like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report is only good to view after the viewer watched national news programs and local news instead of only watching satire news only, viewers just not get the whole picture…

    Most citizens wouldn’t have much negative feelings towards the bias in the media, if said media wouldn’t have so much animosity to change based on the news topic at hand. Most well-known media members are stubborn and believe what a particular political party dose or says is right. So much so, they agree with said party even if they believe they’re far left on certain situations. However, a questionable television show mocks and makes fun of politics. They try to bring laughter about the matter instead of sugar coating and being bias about the situation.     Being observed by many viewers gives them a chance to try and convince the audience to take a side on politics. Many news channel companies are told what to say even if some of the employers may disagree. They find ways to get to the public like exaggerating a story and even to lie on purpose. A Well know journalist such as John Stossel and Bernie Goldberg are witnesses of this action. Both worked for recognized news broadcasters and had very different viewpoints on what to say on issues. On, Stossel In The Classroom, Stossel interviews Bernie Goldberg on the subject of; dealing with media bias. In this interview Bernie explained why mainstream media is bias mentioning that the networks need reality checks and how groupthink happens among the information this means there are many people who think alike and believe that what they are writing is true. This “truth” is then filtered through a liberal prism. Goldberg also says that the problem with bias is the networks get to decide what viewers can hear or see on any issue that is being broadcasted.     When a journalist or any other media outlet reports news with a point of view and not just the facts, it is called media bias. Media bias can happen in several forms. These include selective reporting of facts, omission of facts and deliberate distortion. Media bias in America comes mainly in two forms, conservative and liberal. Major media outlets are sometimes known for their bias reporting. The Fox News Channel tends to have a more conservative point of view with their reporting, whereas the NBC, ABC and CBS News Channels tend to have more liberal points of view. Audiences of these networks tend to be single minded when it comes to the issues being discussed. Impacts of this include a divide among the American public. As a result of this divide, America is becoming increasingly split into two poles on either end of the political spectrum.
