Mason Jones Monologue
He walked out of the classroom, with his hands crossed over his chest, not looking back at the fiery red face of Mrs. Wilson. Even though he didn’t look back he could feel her rage staring at him, along with everyone else in the classroom, as he silently walked to Principal Robert’s office.
His name is Mason Jones. Most of his friends call him Jones, because he plays football and that’s the name on the back of his jersey. As you could probably already understand, Mason gets in a lot of trouble here at Ocean View School for Boys. There was this one event, on teacher appreciation week, where he presented Mrs. Wilson a “caramel apple”, it actually was coated in light brown glue. Another experience was when his social studies teacher left the

Wilson found out about all of his prior pranks. Like, all of them, he ever pulled on anybody that was witnessed by Charles. It was just a typical day, but by the third period of the day, Mason was invited into Mr. Robert’s office. When he got inside, the first thing that he noticed was the little snitch. He was sitting in one of the two antique empire chairs in front of the principal’s desk. He took the empty seat to the left of him. Jones dared not to give him the darkest, evil stare ever, even though he was so tempted to do it, he sensed Wiseman staring at him, he would never want to lock eyes with …show more content…
Mason was so astonished he almost fell out of his seat and began to dance around the office, of course, he didn’t actually do that. Mason didn’t really know if it was meant to be a punishment, he only had a warning for his “bad behavior.” Only a warning, do you know how excited he was. But, he was also instructed to not pull any more pranks. The only problem was that Jones already set up a prank before he left period three. When the first kid opened the door there was supposed to be a bucket full of bright blue slime poured onto them and everyone else. When Mason got to the classroom, he walked in there as fast as he was pushed out. He didn’t remember that they had a class picture, they probably took it when he was gone so everyone got slime in their hair. When Jones strolled in, Mrs. Wilson’s face was already so scarlet he thought she was going to pop. That was when Mason Jones was admonished from the

His pale blue eyes glanced the room, and the pauses, he worried his lower lip, driving Charlotte crazy, that his outfit choice was bold for a teacher and that he appeared nervous to speak in front of his own class.…

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

In this scene Naymond states that “You gotta suspend me. School gotta have rules”(33.10). By Naymond stating this quote it entails that he wants the school to give him the correct punishment based off of the rule, in this case it would be expulsion. This quotes helps in the argument where the corner kids do not want to be in a classroom environment. Prior to this statement Mr. Duquette told Naymond that he can leave class but not school, so Naymond proceeds to throw a desk to try and get removed or expelled from school. By Naymond deliberately provoking the school board tells us that he is willing to go to high expectations to be removed from school. If we look back to the regular classroom we can get the sense that those children are willing to learn and are excited about it. Unlike the confined classroom that the corner kids are being held in, there is a ton of resentment and disobedience because they do not believe they can get taught anything that they do not already know. In conclusion, based on the scene and the supporting evidence we can confirm that the corner kids are unwilling to change their ways and allow from knowledge to place upon them. We can also determine that by the corner kids being removed from the classroom makes the class more productive and several students attitudes have changed…
