When president Roosevelt was elected the federal firearms act of 1938 put restriction on guns and ammunition trade, which results in dealers being registered to keep their records. President LBJ introduced a gun reform law that made stricter licensing and registration. He banned the sale of guns to felons and those who are mentally incompetent. The law also had regulations against destructive devices. Both of the laws from each president attempt to control gun laws were a pro. But today, even with those laws passed the world still suffers from someone hands behind a gun is a con. All three articles talks about controlling guns with laws. The pro with making laws against gun control is that the limit of power someone can have to a gun and its decrease violence that involves firearms. The con about that no matter how many laws are enforced people are still going to find a way to their rights to bear arm whether they are using it for the right or wrong reason.
