Huntington Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, community-based medical center situated in Pasadena, California. The Hospital provides acute medical care and community healthcare services to the region of the San Gabriel Valley and its closest communities. The facility offers the treatment of cancer, epilepsy, robotic invasive and bariatric surgery (Haile, 2016). The Hospital Executive Management chose to address cancer with a focus on breast cancer treatment, screening, immunization, and vaccination. Huntington Hospital also aims to address the best practices, time, and resources to conduct a research on successful, evidence-based programs. On the annual basis, the facility will report measures of plan progress to the Community Benefits Committee comprised of representatives from approximately twenty healthcare related organizations.
