Assignment 1 - Summer School, 2013

The assignment comprises 25% of the total marks for the course.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this assessment is to: enhance and assess your knowledge and understanding of the theories, concepts and techniques discussed in the course. demonstrate skills in applying and analysing concepts to real life situations within your own context.

2. Scope

This assignment is marked out of 50. The assignment covers:
Topic One – Marketing Environments (24 marks)
Topic Two – Market Planning (26 marks)

3. Research and References

You are encouraged to consult journals, newspapers, textbooks and internet sources while working on this assignment to develop your ideas. However, the words in the written assignment which you present should be your own. All references to other works should be cited at the bottom of the page or at the end of the assignment. Clear and obvious plagiarism will be considered as a prohibited practice, as explained in the Student Information Guide Booklet.

Important: Due date and Submission

The assignment is due on: Tuesday 14th January 201 by 9.00am.
